2018 Shamrock 5K
Get your Irish on and bring out your inner Leprechaun! Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with all your Irish friends during Hilton Head Island's 23rd Annual Running of the Green. The Pinnacle Bank Hilton Head Shamrock 5K (3.1 miles) Run & Health Walk presented by Coligny Plaza will be held on Saturday morning March 17th at 8:00AM.
Start your celebration early. The flat and fast Shamrock Run race course starts on Pope Avenue in front of New York City Pizza at Heritage Plaza. It will take runners down Pope Avenue, North Forest Beach Drive, and then return on Lagoon Road to the finish inside Coligny Plaza. View the course map!
Prizes will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers plus the top three in each age category will receive unique awards. All finishers will receive green finishers beads.
"Beat the Leprechaun"
Every runner who beats our Leprechaun to the finish line will also recieve a Shamrock Run gift.
Pre-registration is $30 until March, 14.
Late & Race-Day registration is $35 from 7:00-7:45AM.
All participants will receive a colorful Shamrock Run t-shirt.
A percentage of proceeds will go to benefit The Rotary Club of Hilton Head / Sunset
Post Race Block Party:
New York City Pizza will host a party and an awards ceremony featuring refreshments, pizza, music, and door prizes following the event!
