Event Details for
2019 Arroyo Creek Runs

Course Description: Race start 7:am half marathon / 7:15-10k / 7:30 -5k / kids 1k  9 am
The race will start at  Rancho Simi Park at  1765 Royal Ave, Simi Valley CA 93065  and run along the Arroyo bike path   . Which is lined with beautiful trees for shade and makes a wonderful environment.  The bike path runs through the center of Simi Valley and along the Arroyo Creek. This is still home to ducks and herons, (not cranes), who are soaking up the sun while playing in the gently flowing spring /summer time  water.  There will be Aid stations every 1.5 miles.  We even have a kids 1k fun run so the whole family can join the fun.  1k starts later in the morning so you have plenty of time to rustle up the troops for race morning. 

Weekend Warriors / Beginners / walkers: 
Yes, this is a very walker friendly course! It is mostly flat, with a few gentle rollers to keep you on your game. There are plenty of aid stations, and this event is loads of fun!  There is a: Generous 4:00 hour time limit for the half marathon, so take your time and enjoy the scenery! 

Middle of the pack runners:
Looking for a PR (Personal Record)?? Then this is the race for you! Mostly flat course, with some gentle rollers and plenty of room to make your move towards your new PR

Elite and Advanced runners: 
This mostly flat course along with some mild rollers, which are mid way through your run. There are some long stretches to allow you to really open up your speed along the last few miles of the course.   

All Runners will receive:
Finisher medal
Race day athlete t-shirt
Custom Goody bag with race day logo 

Free plate of fresh pancakes

That's right we are proud to announce that all runners will be awarded a free plate of street tacos at post race!  And yes you can buy more $4 per plate.   Special note:  Friends and family can buy food tickets for $4 each.

This is where you pickup your race bib #, timing chip, race day tech t-shirt, and goody bag. You can also review the Race Course Map and ask any race day related questions that you may have.
We will have available for purchase: Last minute race day goodies like custom logo sweat shirts, bags, etc. This is your last chance to register for this race.... NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION
